Doctors recommend to deworm children every 6 months from the first year of age. However some parents may begin the deworming at 6 months of age when they start to crawl around and get into contact with worms on the ground. If you suspect that your child may have worms, the doctor may do the following tests: -cotton swab test -ultrasound test -stool examination -sticky tape test -checking under fingernails Most deworming is done by administering oral medication so I do not think that you will need to prepare your child for anything though. http://www.babycenter.in/x1016994/is-it-important-to-get-my-two-year-old-dewormed

Got it! I'm just worried about her playing with toys and other stuffs now and then put her hands on her mouth (that is inevitable) - which I think might cause her to have worms sooner or later. Thanks for the info Stephanie! Will keep that in mind :)

You can let your child deworm naturally if you think is necessary by giving pomegranate fruit etc.

thanks
