If you have leftover meats (like chicken or beef), I suggest you try making pytti panna, which is basically a Swedish potato hash dish. Traditionally, this meal is made out of leftover meats and potatoes (a staple in Sweden). You can spice it up with herbs and throw in some cheese to make it more substantial. Serve it up with a sunny-side up egg and you're good to go! Seriously, one of my favourite weekday dinners when I have no time to cook "real" food. Here's a recipe you can follow, you can remove things like beetroot, parsnips if they are not readily available: http://honestcooking.com/pytt-i-panna-swedish-hash/

You can take a look at this website, there are a lot of suggestions on how to use leftovers: http://greatist.com/health/leftovers-meals-healthy-recipes Personally, I've usually use leftover rice to make fried rice. For some reason, fried rice tastes nicer when leftover/overnight rice was used as compared to freshly cooked ones. ;p

Normally I do not do that as cooked food will create Heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and if you recook/reheat it, it will cause cancer (carcinogen) and damage our kidney. http://www.precisionnutrition.com/all-about-cooking-carcinogens

If I have chicken or meats, usually I turn it into sandwiches or wrap filling..or Shahsuka or fried rice. If its sambal (red sauce), i will cook Nasi Lemak the next day..😁
