i found coconut oil to be really effective while treating diaper rash. you have to wash the area gently and pat it dry very softly. next, take some virgin coconut oil and apply it nicely over the entire area, so that it becomes nourished. let your baby be without a diaper or even a cloth nappy for some time. you can do this at least 5 to 8 times a day, coconut oil will not be harmful at all. to prevent diaper rash, avoid putting your baby in the diaper as much as you can

You can use water and washcloth or baby wipes to clean every time you change his diaper. I will make sure to clean it throughly and gently for my son then apply nappy cream for him. I find this diaper cream really good. They are sold at Watsons or Mothercare. Try to air dry before wearing back his diaper and remember to change diaper maximum 4 hours.
