feeling all of it at different moments, especially the exhaustion. I feel like my whole life completely changed and now baby's schedule becomes the highest priority. People say sleep when the baby sleeps but I end up rushing chores and having my meals when baby is sleeping. By the time I settle all the chores and my quick meals, baby is up and I need to breastfeed again. So exhausted that at times, i tell my husband to take over for me to have some sleep. Although we dont have our parents to assist us with our baby, i am blessed that my husband helps with the chores when he can since he is working shift work. The exhaustion is just on another level but when our baby smiles and is learning to giggle now, at that moment i feel rewarded and blessed. Communicating and sending my husband messages (when he is at work) about what is going on at home with our baby helps for me as i feel less alone. Hugs and kisses from him also helps me feel loved and appreciated at the end of an exhausting day.
