3 Month plus LO kept crying at night

Help! LO is now 3 month plus. He has been crying very hard from 8pm to 12am. I will feed him FM every 2hr with 150ml but at night he seems to be asking for more and refusing to sleep. He used to sleep from 830pm throughout till morning. But lately he been sleeping from 12am till morning. Offered pacifier but it's not working. Had to keep pat n carry him to sleep and it's always till 12am b4 he finally fall sleep. Else he will always wake up in between 8pm to 12am. He seems to be asking for food. However it's abit weird to kept asking more during the night feeding. I am not sure how much more ml I can provide. I have gave 150ml and another 150ml in an hour time.

This can be quite a normal phase - especially because it coincides with a growth spurt :") The truth is that it'll pass and this is a phase that every baby experiences to different extents! But I also know how lost you might feel and would want to know all the ways you can help baby feel better :") these were some things I tried when my baby was going through this and I just kept trying and rotating through the list until something worked! - try burping in case it's upper gas - massaging in case it's lower gas - walk around, pat, talk to baby - white noise / lullaby music - pacifier - change in environment (walk out of room to living room, to kitchen) - introducing a cuddly / comfort toy - feeding milk Their milk intake can be drastically more during growth spurt - mine drank another full feed within the hour too! If this keeps persisting, can look up PURPLE crying. Press on! 🫶🏻

sometimes its just stomoch gassy (need to take more time burping ensuring no gas/collic.OR at 3 months he is getting more aware of his surroundings so he feels a bit scared and clingy. I used to carry my baby in a baby carrier at that age to put her to sleep and I wont put her down until I see her asleep for more than 10 mins then I slowly put her down. Also swaddle her, ensure diaper clean , well fed and swaddles really help. All the best.

Give much as your baby demands, they know how to self-regulate. He's probably going through a growth spurt as the other commenter said. Trying giving 180 and see if it lengthens the time before he asked for another feed.

it could be colic though, since you mentioned that he is unconsolable even after increasing feed. you can use ridwind and add into his milk. try and see if it lessens his fussiness. https://s.shopee.sg/8pUqHrNsBA

Most likely going thru growth spurts, usually occurs at all the 3/6/9m - ranging from few days to 1-2 weeks each growth spurt. Then when teething period, intake might also decrease due to discomfort.

150ml and 150ml in an hour would be considered over feeding. 3m should feed every 3-4hrs. I do suspect it's colic, please engage a PD
