Has anyone gone through ear piercing for their baby girl in Singapore for less than 6months old? Can you please suggest the safest way and place?

Any reason to pierce baby's ear at such a young age? My friends have gone to Bayan clinic at Jurong west for the piercing. The doctor will put a cream to numb baby's eat first before piercing. Alternatively, Jurong point gold heart does it for $35 For cheap, Boon Lay Shopping Centre...there is a chinese jewellery shop on the 1st floor and you can pierce there for $10.
