It depends on individual babies. Some babies started walking immediately without any furniture cruising. Whereas some will only be able to fully walk on their own after a few months of cruising. you can encourage your girl by standing at a distance, encourage her to walk over to you for a big hug. This way it will motivate them to take a step out on their own
I ever watched a show on channel 8 and doctor said that babies should learn crawling not straight to walking because by crawling they will strengthen the lower back muscles which is essential for them. Same advise was also given by a Taiwanese doctor from those Taiwan health shows. Hence, should encourage crawling and cruising around at the same time.
Mine has been cruising for about two months and the way I look at it she is not going to be walking in the next month. If they show signs of being able to squat down and stand up on their own without any support they will be walking soon. Right now my gal can only stand without support for ten seconds only
Depending on baby. My no2 was cruising at 7 months, but refuse to walk until he was 18 months!! My no1 was also cruising at 7 months, but walked by 1 year old. Difference between the two - my no1 was fumbling alot when he started walking, my no2 was running almost immediately :)
Now to think of it, I can't remember how long my older boy cruised. But he did it for quite sometime. We'll he never really crawled either. My bub who is now 10months still can't sit unassisted.
It took about 3 months before she started walking FYI
