Anyone Using Topical Steriod Cream During Pregnancy?

Has anyone been using topical steriod cream during pregnancy n baby is still OK? I am v worried as I have v bad PUPPS n can't help to apply steriod cream thinly under doctor instruction. Been trying to reduce or stop but e itchiness is really unbearable.
