Covid vaccination for pregnant women

this is my first pregnancy too..I'm in the same dilemma whether to take covid vaccine or not keeping in mind all the possible side effects it may have on me and the baby both short term and long term. But considering the daily rise in the covid cases bothers me significantly. I'm actually in the same boat as you are. My gynae has asked me to take the vaccine too. But who can promise people like us that it will surely not have a bad impact on the little ones that we carry?
