do u guys bathe newborn when cord is still on?? read so many articles n keep having different info, some say don’t n some say it’s ok..

I still bathe my newborn. He started bathing on day 4, and prior to that i just used cotton wool dipped in warm water to clean his entire body. He was immersed in his tub during his bath so i will gently pat and dry the area. Its impt to clean it and dry it off thereafter to avoid infection.
