40 weeks no sign

You can wait or you can go to your gynae to say that you're due and they will check if you need to be induced or you can wait a little longer for the signs. It's totally normal to be a bit later than the due date. Personally, I would recommend to wait as the baby will tell you when it's ready to come out naturally. Mine was late by 5 days and I didn't go to the hospital.

I was induced at 41 weeks. Baby probably wasn't ready to come out cause my cervix refuse to open after 20 hours. I had to do an emergency c section in the end. If I can turn back time, I would probably have let nature take its course!

Hi Ila! 80% of babies are born between 38-42 weeks. I’d give it a couple more weeks and check in with your gynae in the mean time. Take care!
