I gave twice a day as my baby loves the solid food. She is on milk in the morning and have solid for lunch and dinner. Sometimes as taking solids need more effort with digestion, the poop wont be as soft as when breastfeeding. My 2nd chils always turn red when he use force or stretch hard - sometimes when he poop.

Feed him twice a day. Lunch and dinner. Initially was only a teaspoon mixed with FM. Offer FM after food to see if he wants more. Gradually increase to 2 teaspoons. Currently he is eating purée with 3 big teaspoonful of oats. :) and yes, love to see his face when he poops! Haha. Red like tomato :p

Twice a day Lunch 5 tbsp of rice cereal Evening - Puree (avocado, lentils, etc) around 5 tbsp My boy currently 7 months. I didnt change the meal time as solid food is only supplementary at this age. Breastmilk still the most impt source for them

Started with twice a day and then increase to 3 similar to adult meal time (8am, 12pm, 5pm) with small snacks, fruits in between. I think when just starting out there's no need to have a strict schedule since it is just small quantity.

Twice a day - lunch at 12 pm and dinner at 6:30 - 7 pm. My girl is 8 months+ now so she eats at least 4 oz per meal. Yes, sometimes my girl push so hard until her face becomes so red.

Twice per day between 11am - 12pm and between 6.30pm - 8pm 6 table spoons. As I started on 5months with small amount so now I giving 6tablespoons of porridge.
