how frequent should i pump

Hi ftm here and getting ready for the arrival of my little one! How frequent should I pump and latch for new born? Does it mean even though baby has already latch I should still probably pump an hour later to regulate?

As frequent as you breastfeed, or in between pumps if you are looking to try to gradually increase your milk supply
