Correct way to make formula milk?

My formula milk instructions stated 120ml water to 4 scoops of formula - if I measure the water to exactly 120ml before adding the formula powder, I will end up with about 140ml after preparing - is this correct? Most people I know prepare 4 scoops of formula topped with water to 120ml so the entire mixture is still 120ml, to do that it means the water used is less than 120ml. Which way is correct??

I think too thick also not good for them, last time bcos my baby refuse the formula for sometimes, I make the milk thinner by reducing the measure by 10ml. and I usually put water to the exact measure first, then add the milk.

Add water to 120ml and add milk powder. Follow the instructions in the packaging. If you add powder and water not according to the ratio, the milk might be too thick for baby.

2nd method is the wrong way.

Depends on the brand instructions. For Enfamil, it’s water first.

First of all pour 120 Ml of water then add 4 scoops of milk powder

Super Mom

Pour water first before adding powder.
