Gynae Visit Frequency

I’m seeing private gynae at TMC and this is the schedule. Every 3 weeks in the first trimester, then week 16 - 20 - 24 - 28 - 32 - 36 - 37.5 - 38.5 - 39.5 Typically private gynae has a package to offer once you reach second trimester. For mine at TMC is $820 that includes doctor consultation (typically is $100), ultrasound scan (typically is $80) and urine dipstik (typically is $5). Not too sure about public hospital…

Private patient From week 8 to week 40 (total of 13 scans and 1 post natal scan). My gynae had package so my package included 15 scans and 1 post natal scan. First 2 visits - 3 weeks. Subsequently - 4 weeks. Third trimester - 2 weeks. Week 37 onwards - weekly.

About 4 weeks interval till 32 weeks it became 2 weeks interval and then 36 weeks onwards it will become weekly for me. Every gynae may have different suggestions though..

Based on my personal experience: First and second trimester it's once a month. From 3rd trimester, it's every 2 weeks until you're 36 weeks. Then it's weekly until delivery.
