Snacks to labour room

This is my first pregnancy. I heard mummies mentioning to bring some snacks to hospital to munch on during labour. Are we allowed to bring in snacks ? And if yes, what kibd of snacks should i bring? #FTM

I was FASTING the moment im in labour ward till after giving birth!!😂😂😂 like 20hrs? Only a sip of a little water. Even my csec operation lasted like 30mins,stillll need to continue fasting for another 8hrs...only had my dinner at 9pm.

If you’re not induced, then yes. I was induced so I wasn’t allowed to eat😩 but I can smell spaghetti and hear snacks munching from my next bed 🥲.

I thought we are not supposed to eat at all once in the labour ward?? Only can have small sips of water?

I ever brought garett popcorn lol. But i didnt eat at all. Tbh i wasnt allowed much food.
