Newborn face shield

It’s my first baby and covid cases have been high so i’m kind of worry when i give birth… can’t be let newborn baby wear mask so thinking does face shield actually helps to protect? Or any other option?

I guess minimizing contact with strangers is best for now. Avoid crowded places and going out unnecessarily especially when baby is still young. It may be tough to keep a face shield on too..

Don't think it's of use for newborn. Just don't go out after birth but definitely hard to since baby still need to see dr for checkups after discharged from hospital
