Hey mama, I totally understand the worry, it's natural! The good news is that KKH takes Type 2 in pregnancy really seriously, so you'll be in good hands. From what I've heard from other mums there, expect regular blood sugar monitoring (they're quite thorough about it), possibly more frequent antenatal visits, and they'll work with you on diet and sometimes medication adjustments to keep things stable for baby. A friend went through KKH with gestational diabetes and said the team was really supportive, they explain everything clearly and don't make you feel like you're doing something wrong. Most mums I know with Type 2 delivered healthy babies when they stayed on top of their numbers and followed the care plan. The key things people mentioned are: keep your readings in check, attend all your appointments, and be honest with your doctor about any concerns. It does add a bit more monitoring to your pregnancy, but it's all about protecting your little one and keeping you well too. Definitely have a detailed chat with your KKH specialist or endocrinologist about your specific situation, they'll give you the clearest picture of what to expect for your pregnancy. Wishing you all the best with this journey!
