Hyperthyroidism & Type II Diabetes

Any mummy experiencing this during pregnancy? Been taking cmz (carbimazole) for thyroid relapsed lately after I've stopped the medications due to recovery. At the same time, I also have type II diabetes (from gestational diabetes from my 1st born becoming Type II diabetes permanently -family history). Any mummy is going through this? Just found out I'm pregnant again and I've read up that cmz can cause deformation in babies especially consumption during first trimester... and on top of this, its my first time being diabetic and pregnant. First round was GDM which I didn't use any insulin due to strict diet control and daily exercises with my sugar level maintaining below 8mmol, 2 hours after food daily. But now I'm officially diabetic, compulsory to have insulin? So stressful really.

This sounds like a lot to carry all at once, especially so early in pregnancy. Please try to see your ObGyn and endocrinologist as soon as you can, especially regarding the carbimazole, so they can guide you safely from the start and support you through this properly.
