over/undersupply is determined based on how much u produce vs how much baby drinks! if u make way lesser than what baby drinks, u are considered undersupply, if u make way more then u're considered oversupply n if u make just enough or slightly more/less u're a "just enougher" u can try timing your pump time with when baby drinks, eg, 10am pump feed 12pm feed 2pm pump feed something like this, it doesn't have to be exactly 4hrs on the dot as babies don't eat according to the clock either, hope this helps

Hi mama, At 7 days postpartum, your BM supply hasn’t been regulated as yet. At the start, when milk comes in, it’s good to remove milk every 2-3 hours so as to maintain a healthy milk supply in the long run. If you have more than enough to feed your LO, you could start storing and freezing your BM for when and if you return to work. If indeed you’re an oversupply mama, you could also consider donating your BM to KKH milk bank or the FB group Human Milk for Human Babies :)

Quite a good amount for a start! For excess, you may freeze them for future consumption. Jiayou mama! 💪

May I ask if you’re direct latching as well?

I’m not latching.. ahh I see but 4 hours works just nice for me as 2-3hrs is too tight for me. Thank you for the tips!
