Eh, my friend actually delivered under Dr Ho Ping Ling at KKH not too long ago, she tried for natural birth but after many hours labour, ended up going for C-sec, and she said the stitches healed really nicely, so that part she was quite happy about. Someone in my mum WhatsApp group also mentioned that Dr Ho is known for being quite thorough and caring about both mum and baby's recovery, which gave her a lot of peace of mind. On the cost side, another mum I know paid around $3.4k cash for her C-section with a few nights in B1 ward, so can use that as a rough gauge lah, though of course it depends on your own situation. Overall most mummies I've heard from had positive things to say, but I guess like any delivery, you go in with a plan and sometimes things shift, the key is whether you trust your doctor to make the right call, and sounds like Dr Ho is quite steady on that front.
