5 weeks scan

Hi everyone. Im currently 5 wks pregnant. Went to A&E yesterday for some issues i had and did scans too. However Dr mentioned he can only see gestational sac but nothing inside as its still too early and i will need to come back in 2 weeks time. Is this normal and i Shudnt be worried? Tq.

People usually go for their first gynae visit at week 8 as by then, everything that the gynae needs to check to determine the viability of the pregnancy will be there already. You're just making yourself more worried if you choose to go so early. Only go gynaes this early if you know you're pregnant and are bleeding. That warrants an urgent visit. Otherwise, just go starting from week 8.
