Like what? What kind of scans have you gone through already? For private doctors the ultrasound scan is done every month when you go for your regular appointments. In between there will also be the nuchal translucency (NT) test and detailed scan. That's pretty much it. My gynae does mention other scans like the Harmony Test and 4D scans but she just briefly went through the details and asked us if we were keen. She gave us the option to choose and she would let us know whether it was encouraged or just a good to have. Maybe it's time to have a talk with your gynae to address your concerns directly.

Do check with your gynae thoroughly in case you feel a particular test is unnecessary.
Hmm did yr gynae explain what they were for and why there's a need for them? Do you know what they were? Mine only does the monthly ultrasound and the key ones like DS and detailed scan. 3D and 4D scans are available but only if we request for them, and those are just for keepsakes.
Compared to my friends under private gynae, they have scans on every visit. It also depends on your age that might require more scans. If you are unsure what the scans are for, you might want to speak to your gynae.
