yes teething can cause diarrhea as babies try to chew on anything and everything they can lay their hands on to ease the discomfort. as a result, they often get exposed to a lot of germs and hence it leads to diarrhea. i would suggest you let your baby bite on chilled carrot sticks, teething rings and so on, and clean them regularly.
