You can try gently massaging some coconut oil or baby oil onto the scalp, leave it for about 15-20 mins, then use a soft brush or fine-tooth comb to gently loosen the flakes before washing off with baby shampoo. Don’t pick at it though! It usually clears up on its own over time. If it gets really stubborn or starts spreading, your PD can recommend a medicated shampoo.

I agree with the others here. That looks like cradle cap. try gently washing with baby shampoo and using a soft brush or cloth to loosen it. some parents also apply a little baby oil before washing to soften it. Just avoid picking at it. If it looks very red, swollen, or seems to bother your baby, best to get it checked by a doctor to be sure

I use olive oil. Massage into the affected areas then let it sit for about 10min. Then I use a fine tooth comb and very very gently see if any of the flakes had come loose (note:dont scratch them off if the flakes dont come out easily. If they aren't budging, do not try to scratch them off, will hurt the baby)

This is cradle cap. Happens in about half of babies at some point. Very normal but will get worse unless you do something. You can use the mama’s choice baby shampoo and hair vitamin lotion that was especially formulated for cradle cap. Should improve after a couple of weeks of daily use

You can buy cradle cap shampoo from mustela and use. My baby has been using it for 2/3 months. And her cradle cap is gone.

You can use olive oil too. Massage the scalp and let it sit few mins before shower
