Does anyone have any experience with Amber necklaces? Do they work?

Myself and some friends used it when baby is teething and can see the good results. http://sg.theasianparent.com/baltic-teething-remedy-amber-teething-necklace/ There are two types of teething necklaces: Amber Teething necklace and Hazelwood Teething. The main difference between the two is the type of materials used. The one I used was Amber Teething necklace which has anti-inflammatory and therapeutic properties. If you feel uncomfortable to let baby to wear the necklace on neck (choking hazard), you can wear it on other place as long as directly on the baby's skin e.g. ankle.

Some parents say the beads work when body heat activates the amber to release succinic acid, which is believed to have pain-killing properties. But there is no scientific evidence to suggest the beads help, and the risks far outweigh any benefits. There is a strangulation risk. If your kids are pulling or trying to chew on them, they could break the beads off and choke. Health Canada also warns against using teething necklaces.

Didn't try one but a close friend of mine had it for her daughter. She said it works :)
