Peeing after sex does help in preventing UTI, but also make sure you and your partner's hands are clean also. Sounds like a chronic condition that needs to be treated first with a dose of antibiotics. You can also drink lemongrass water or just plenty of water to flush out the bacteria. But best to consult with your doctor since it's a recurring problem.

Urinate before sex, and promptly after. Clean your genital and anal areas before and after sex. Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water; this will help rid your urinary tract of bacteria. Read up more https://www.everydayhealth.com/urinary-tract-infections/the-link-between-utis-and-sex.aspx

Isn’t a woman supposed to remain lying down if she’s trying to conceive?

I had same issue for like 5 months, this month solved finally. went to doctor and took a strong antibiotic. eat cranberry, drink pure cranberry juice, drink LOTS of water and avoid sugar and reduce carbohydrates.

Hey, UTI happens because of not drinking enough water, holding your pee etc. as well. So it is better to check with your gynae or urologist as well

Super Mom

Uti can be cause by other reasons too. Such as pregnancy, not drinking enough water, holding your pee etc.. Check with your gynae.

I dont think peeing after sex can contribute in not getting uti.. better check with a gynae
