Do you offer your little one pacifier? Cause I am currently giving formula and I noticed after I feed her 3oz, an hour later she will cry again, thought she is still hungry so gave her a little more milk but she would end up vomitting out the milk. Could it be she just wants to suck on something?

I don't offer her a pacifier because she likes to nurse for comfort. She has started to suck on her fingers, so I let her use her fingers instead of a pacifier. It is known as non-nutritive sucking (comfort sucking) which is very normal. If you intend to give her a pacifier, do ensure that it is an orthodontic one to prevent tooth misalignment and possible future orthodontic problems. However, do note that though rare, babies may choke on pacifiers (but they can't choke on their thumb!). Try to get a pacifier which comes in a single piece with no detachable parts.
