Do you ever miss your bump?

More than the bump, I miss feeling her move around inside me. I was very agile right up till my delivery date, and people around me were constantly asking me to slow down my pace of walking for fear I would trip and fall. I miss placing my palm on my belly and feeling her kick. Sometimes she would squirm and other times she would hiccup. Baby hiccups are the cutest. It feels like heartbeats.

I don't know about other mummies, aside from the movements my baby does when he's inside, I don't mind it at all! I couldn't dress up and wear my clothes. I didn't want to buy maternity clothes either because I felt it was a waste of money so I felt like a sloth most of the time. Plus, I do not miss sliding sideways in between cars!

Yes, I missed my bumps. I feel lucky to have studio maternity pictures for all my pregnancies for keepsake. I love to wear maternity dresses as they are so pretty.
