Nipple sore

Dear mummies, i would like to check something from you all. I've delivered since april and doctor prescribe me medication to stop breast milk. As of now is almost 2 months and few days back my nipple is sore and painful with causes my arm muscles painful as well. Can i check can it be due to engorment? Can someone help me with it?
