It’s a good question. In general, most professionals advise avoiding tattoos or cosmetic procedures like eyebrow embroidery during pregnancy. The main concern isn’t just the needle itself, but the risk of infection (like hepatitis or bacterial infections) and possible reactions to pigments or anesthetics. During pregnancy, your immune system and skin sensitivity can change, so even a normally safe procedure might carry more uncertainty. That’s why many doctors recommend waiting until after delivery and recovery. It’s kind of similar to how people become more careful about their overall environment during pregnancy, whether it’s what they eat, products they use, or even things like managing light and comfort at home. I was recently looking into ways to make indoor spaces more relaxing and came across different types of window shades that help control light exposure and improve comfort levels (blackout vs light-filtering, etc.): https://www.beasenhome.com/collections/roller-shades So overall, it’s best to play it safe and postpone cosmetic tattoos until after pregnancy, just to avoid any unnecessary risks.

There is also a slight possibility that some ladies can faint while being pregnant and this would not be ideal while tattooing. Most cosmetic tattooists will use some form of anesthetic and numbing cream prior and during procedures. These will absorb into the skin and may enter into the blood stream. Everything we've said above refers to all permanent makeup and micropigmentation treatments, not just microblading. All the treatments imply breaking the skin in the same or similar way, and so they entail the same risks. https://tattooscale.com/best-wireless-tattoo-machines/

I checked this before too mommy, and most advice I got was to avoid tattoos or eyebrow embroidery during pregnancy. Main concerns are risk of infection and chemicals/pigments that might not be fully safe for baby.

Super Mom

Main concerns for eyebrow embroidery are cleanliness and chemicals. If you do your research and are satisfied that there is minimal risk to your baby, then go ahead.
