Cord blood banking. Isit really necessary?

Hi all, just curious about cord blood banking if is there anyone there who opt for this? Is there a fee to this if so roughly how much? TIA ?

I did! You never know what might happen to the kid and if anything happens, there's a chance of helping my kid in the future. Intending to do that for my second one.
