contemplating whether to purchase insurance since I've reached the min weeks. do u think its needed to get one?

Yes important. During these 40 weeks you never know what will happen, no matter how healthy you are. Some complication will even start post delivery, eg pre eclampsia, baby high jaundice etc as it will cover yours and your baby’s complication. Please get it. I got prudential, covers up to 5k, need to pay $300+ one time payment
