Is cleaning baby’s tongue necessary?

Yes it is. If it gets too thick, baby can feel pain. When that happens, they’ll be too much in pain to suck on a nipple/bottle for feeding. It is also a place for bacteria to grow so please clean as much as you can. Mine got so thick when she was on formula most of the time. I tried using a wet cloth but it didn’t work. Maybe I was doing it wrongly. So I bought those tongue cleaner from Shopee. I also used my fingernail to gently scrape it off her tongue which worked instantly for a start.

Yes it is really important. You can do it with a cotton swab dipped in warm water
