try speaking to him often, read to him, say out what you're doing etc.
my boy only started talking well over 3yo but super chatty since 😅
my boy pick up very fast after Childcare at 2 years
Speak a lot and often to your child. That may help.
I been talking alot to him but what I know is maybe still abit time . as he understand what I mean but he trying very harD answer me
