Guilt Over Not Cooking Fresh Meals for My Toddler :(

We are both working parents and honestly don’t have much time to cook fresh meals for our 15-month-old. We don’t have a helper and don’t plan to get one, and we also don’t have family around to help us with childcare. I feel really guilty that I’m not preparing fresh food every day, and we’ve been relying mostly on frozen baby meals from the stores for our baby. Fellow mummies, do you have any tips on how to manage meal preparation for your little ones?

the frozen baby meals are quite nutritious I feel and it actually provides more varieties than we cook ourselves. some days I prep soup ingredients and put them in the slow cooker, when we return from work, the soup is ready too.

It’s all about priority.. sometimes we gotta psycho ourselves, make time (once a week) and just do the meal prep which takes 1-2 hours only. Acknowledging the guilt is totally fine, but don’t sit in it for too long 🙈

Don’t be guilty mama. My daughter was raised on food packaging and jar food and fresh milk at that age. She’s completely fine and very healthy.
