For me, it’s the constant pressure to be “the best” in everything, grades, CCA, behaviour, even appearance. Felt like if you weren’t excelling, you were falling behind I still want my child to work hard, but I don’t want home to feel like another competition. I want it to feel safe enough for them to fail, rest, and figure out who they are without constant comparison. Also no forcing them to greet every relative at CNY when they’re clearly overwhelmed 😂
