It sounds like you are facing a challenging situation with your mother-in-law regarding the posting of photos of your child on social media without your permission. It's important to address this matter calmly and assertively to protect your child and maintain your boundaries. Firstly, reiterate your concerns and the agreement you had with your husband about not sharing your child's face on social media. Explain to your mother-in-law the reasons behind your decision, such as privacy and safety concerns in today's digital age. Try to have a calm and honest conversation with your mother-in-law, expressing how important it is for you to protect your child's privacy and safety. Let her know that you appreciate her pride as a grandparent but that it's essential for you to stick to the boundaries you've set for your child. If the issue persists despite your efforts to communicate, you may need to set firmer boundaries and consequences. This could include restricting her access to photos of your child or limiting her time with the child until she respects your wishes. Remember that as parents, it's your right and responsibility to make decisions about your child's well-being. Stay firm in your boundaries and prioritize what you feel is best for your family. In some cases, involving a neutral third party, such as a family counselor, could help facilitate a constructive conversation and resolve the conflict. Dealing with difficult in-laws can be challenging, but open communication and setting clear boundaries are crucial. Remember to prioritize your child's safety and well-being above all else. https://invl.io/cll6she

Totally understand how you feel. For me,I feel that most elderly don't respect our decisions. They think they are always right especially when taking care of babies. They have 101 of their saying but they forget that it is not their own kids.

I also haven’t posted my daughter on social media. And prefer not to even though before I gave birth to her I would post bits and pieces of my life on social medial but I too don’t feel comfortable posting my daughter .

Worst part one social media account of theirs will be linked to one another. From fb to whatsapp story to insta story 🥲🥲
