When to start puree or solid?

Hi,my bb turning 5 months. Next review is when bb will turn 6 months 3 weeks. Can I start to give puree the supermarket bb jar one to start first at 6th month?

I only gave when mine turn 6 month. I start by giving abit of fresh apple puree instead of the supermarket ones thou.
