Sticky baby

My baby would wake up often in the night just for me to be there with him. When he cries no one could comfort him until I carry him and put him on the bed. And his eyes will look at me until he falls asleep. Then when I go out of the room again, he will cry for me. Does any mom face babies having separation anxiety? Any solution to ease him?
