Hello! As long as baby is steadily gaining weight, spit up is normal in newborns because their sphincter isn't fully developed and can't hold the milk in when it comes up due to reflux. However, if you are bottle feeding you might want to check whether the bottle teat you are using is too fast for baby and size down accordingly. Remember to "pop" the bottle so that air is removed and you might also want to look up paced feeding if you aren't already doing so! Always check back with paediatrician if you have any further concerns and if baby is no longer feeding well!
Baby below 6 months will spit alot of times! I remember we always have to bring alooot of burp cloth and bibs out, cause he always spit up. Even after burping
After feeding the baby, don't sit her up too soon to burp. Let her rest for 5-10m minimally to let the milk settle properly into the stomach.
Might want to check if you’re over feeding as spit up is common when a baby is overfed
