Of course! About 90% of my baby items are preloved. The only items which I insist on brand new are:
1. Baby swimming pool
2. Baby bath tub
3. Stroller (you never know if the previous baby has pooed or peed in it and strollers are tough to clean thoroughly).
4. UV steriliser
5. Baby bottles
For the rest, I buy preloved, even for clothes. There are lots of great deals to be had online and I get a kick when I buy preloved items in great condition for a small fraction of its original price.
You have to factor in delivery/courier costs though. Sometimes it might be more cost-effective to buy brand new.
Sellers sometimes throw in freebies and you get an even better deal than advertised.
I've bought an IKEA Stuva cot in mint condition for $150 which came with a BreatheableBaby mesh bumper, Fisher Price play gym for $30, a chest of drawers for $100 and lots more. Sometimes people are willing to push down their price to clear the items away fast.
