At what age can we start introducing vitamins to our child?

If your child is having a balanced and healthy diet, there is really no need for giving him/her vitamin supplements. You can refer to the table on this guide for the suggested number of servings of rice, fruits, vegetables, and meats (and other dairy products) for each day (for different age groups). http://www.hpb.gov.sg/HOPPortal/health-article/6086 My colleague only gave her 4-year old multivitamin as her daughter is a fussy eater and she was worried that her diet is not nutritious enough. Another started giving her 5-year old vitamin C supplement as she feels that it helps prevent her son from getting colds and flu.
