Detail Scan ( Buah pinggang baby bengkak )

Hi assalamualaikum mummy2. Harini saya pergi buat detail scan , baby 23week. Masa buat detail scan semuanya okay, kecuali buah pinggang dia ada bengkak sedikit , belah kiri atau kanan mcm tu. Tapi baby boy . Ada tak mummy yg samamcm saya kt sini? Saya dah mula risau pasal baby. Tapi doc tu ckp mungkin akan surut sendiri bengkak tu atau sebaliknya. #bantusharing #pleasehelp

Waalaikumassalam sis, I can imagine how worried you must be right now, especially at 23 weeks when youre still in the middle of things. The good news is your doc already mentioned it might resolve on its own, which happens quite a bit with mild swelling, a few of my mum friends went through similar scares during scans and by the next checkup it was fine. For something like this though, Id really suggest following up with your doctor at the next appointment to monitor how its progressing, maybe ask for another scan in a few weeks to check if the swelling has improved or stayed the same. Try not to stress too much in the meantime (I know easier said than done!), but these things can change throughout pregnancy. Sending you lots of positive thoughts, and do update the group once you know more, Im sure there are mummies out there with similar stories. Hang in there!
