Asking on behalf. My cousin gave birth on 14th July to a baby boy. Her baby boy jaundice level is over 200. Went for phototherapy, but shortly after discharged, went up again. Baby is breastfed. Any advises to offer that can help? Thank u.

It is a common condition among newborn and your cousin shouldn’t be too worried. Common treatments include more frequent feedings of breast milk, or phototherapy. If high level persists, go back to the hospital for more phototherapy treatments. In the meantime, she can continue to breastfeed your nephew.
