Concern about bb’s neck

My baby had this and PD said it's fungal infection which is common among babies as they have many skin folds and esp in this humid weather. He prescribed Daktarin powder. But pls don't just apply anything without doctor's prescription.

my boy has this. PD said can caused by sweat, saliva or when bath, never pat dry enough on the folds area. these will result in fungal infection that cause the redness and some tiny dots. so a cream will be prescribed to apply when needed.

A bit of redness is normal because of the folds, try to clean the folds thoroughly when you're bathing baby. If there are little bumps or baby is itchy then you can check with baby's PD.

Try not to apply too much cream/lotion on him and to allow it to air dry.. If can temporarily stop e current one u using now for few days to see if is allergic.. 😊
