Epidural

Anyone who's taken epidural, was yours a one time thing where the doctor inject a dosage using a syringe at the backbone or was yours a "controlled" thing where the catheter is placed at the back and you can control how much dosage you want depending on the pain??

Hello, if i dont remember wrongly, its a one time thing, but for my case half of my body rejected the epidural and only one side of my body was feeling all the labour pain. End up i called the anesthesiologist to top up the epidural volume. Hope this helps

So the epidural had to be injected twice?

Mine was tHe latter where it can be controlled

So the catheter was placed in your back? How you lie down like that?
