Gas pain after csect
Anyone experience painful gas pain every now and then after csect ? And random sharp pain in stomach thats not around the incision I am almost 2 weeks pp

Oh yes, the gas pain after a c-sect is so real and honestly one of the most surprising things nobody warns you about, the anaesthesia and the surgery itself slow down your digestive system, so gas gets trapped and can cause sharp pain all over your abdomen, not just near the incision, which is completely normal at two weeks postpartum. A friend of mine swore by simethicone (it comes in chewable form, slightly minty taste) to help break up those gas bubbles, though honestly for me personally it helped a little but wasn't a miracle cure, so just keeping that expectation realistic. Walking around as much as you can tolerate really does help move things along, and some mums find that certain foods make it worse, so it's worth watching what you eat. That said, since the sharp pains are a bit all over the place, it's still good to flag it with your gynae or doctor just to rule out anything else, because two weeks pp your body is still doing a lot of healing and they'll be able to tell you if what you're experiencing is within the normal range.
