Anyone 45+ experiencing perimenopause or menopause? How does the period look like?

For me, the periods became really unpredictable at first. One month it was lighter than usual, then the next it dragged on longer. I also had cycles that suddenly skipped, then came back again. It felt a bit confusing until I checked in with my gynae, Dr Chen Chern Yi, and realised it was part of perimenopause. Everyone’s pattern is different, but irregular timing and changes in flow seem pretty common. If things feel off or uncomfortable, getting it checked can help make sense of what’s happening.
