Fish oil and cod liver oil are entirely two different things. Fish oil is rich in omega 3 fatty acids such as DHA and this is known to boost brain development.cod liver oil on the other hand is rich in vitamin D and A and is especially good for kids who do not get exposed to sunlight often which is essential for bine health as vitamin D AIDS calcium absorption. I personally try to give my baby the necessary nutrients from natural diet instead of relying on supplements.
Based on my under they are both different things even though both are from fish. Fish oil is extracted from tuna, and other deep dea oily type of fish. It is also rich in omega 3 but not much in Vit A or D. Hope this helps. Thats all i know though :)
